Principals

	Marianne Fitzpatrick, Principal With more than 15 years of winning marketing program and event planning experience, Marianne Fitzpatrick co-founded Acacia Marketing Group in 2001 with one goal in mind, to deliver world-class marketing solutions that deliver real business results for clients. Prior to founding Acacia, Marianne was the Director of Integrated Marketing Programs for Idiom Technologies, a start-up company specializing in globalization software. At Idiom, Marianne oversaw all aspects of brand development, market promotion, and lead generation programs. Before Idiom, Marianne worked as Director of Marketing Communications for IBM Mindspan Solutions where she led the launch team that introduced their eLearning solution to the global market. Marianne was also an Industry Marketing Manager at Lotus focusing on developing vertical industries globally and she managed the Event Marketing Department for Lotus where she created Lotusphere, the company’s annual user conference with over 10,000 attendees and exhibitors.
	Theresa Garrett, Principal Theresa brings in-depth experience in developing and delivering high-end marketing programs and campaigns to leading corporations. Before forming Acacia Marketing Group with Marianne Fitzpatrick in 2001, Theresa was hired as Vice President of Product Marketing at VerticalNet where her primary responsibilities included target segment identification, sales enablement, pricing, competitive analysis and promotional and campaign development. Prior to Vertical Net, Theresa was the Director of Worldwide Channel Marketing and Director of Worldwide Market Planning for IBM’s Lotus software division. Theresa also brings extensive experience in industry marketing programs serving as Director of Industry Marketing for Lotus where she helped dramatically grow the Lotus Notes business.
